Misty Rae Carson is a Nashville-based independent singer-songwriter that hails from Dallas, Texas where she grew up playing and singing country music. At a very early age Misty was already opening for Grand Old Opry Legends: Ray Price, Bill Anderson, Porter Wagoner, and Billy Walker. 

 

As a songwriter, Misty has cuts with independent artists SaraBeth, Daisy Mallory, and Andy Hackbarth, and has performed in many iconic Nashville venues such as The Bluebird Café, Ford Theatre in the Country Music Hall of Fame, and The Listening Room. 

 

Currently, Misty is part of the acoustic country duo, The Carsons with her husband Jason Carson. They released their debut EP in March 2016. 

 

For over a decade, Misty has been a highly saught after vocal coach, and is a former associate of Renee Grant-Williams. She currently owns an artist development company, Carson Creative, where she and her husband offer career guidance, songwriting instruction, voice lessons and other services to help up and coming artists.
